On Saturday then the next thriller: table leader HBW Balingen-Weilstetten against the direct pursuer TuS N-Lübbecke. One team was able to win the duel in the last second with the buzzer beater. The top match between league leader Balingen and DRHV turned into a real thriller, the Wolves surprised against the second in the table! This makes the fight for promotion really exciting once again. Looking at the last third of the table, the derby between VfL Eintracht Hagen against TSV Bayer Dormagen caused a stir, both teams as well as VfL Lübeck-Schwartau have 22:34 points each. It remains exciting who can keep the class.

2. HBL-Magazine | Matchday 28 Things got heated in the 2nd Handball Bundesliga on the last matchday. After four defeats in a row, TSV Bayer Dormagen managed to turn things around against HSC 2000 Coburg and collected important points for staying in the league. In the battle for ladder promotion, the pursuers Dessau and Nordhorn met in a direct duel. For the first chaser Eisenach there was a special duel on the 28th matchday, which however does not count in the ranking for promotion: An even match against Motor Zaporizhzhia, which was decided only in the last seconds.
