Two teams from the bottom of the 2nd HBL table secured the next important points in the relegation battle in exciting duels on matchday 20! Also between Bietigheim and Potsdam it remained exciting until the end. Enjoy the 2nd HBL highlight magazine.
On the 27th matchday, there were once again fierce duels and surprising results in the 2nd HBL! League leader HBW Balingen-Weilstetten met a strong TuSEM in Essen - the decision was only made in the last second! ThSV Eisenach was challenged in Hüttenberg. On the other side is VfL Eintracht Hagen, who fought against Eulen Ludwigshafen for important points to stay in the league.
On the 24th matchday, HSG Konstanz welcomed TV Großwallstadt. Although the roles were clearly defined before the match, Konstanz surprised with a strong performance. HSC 2000 Coburg started a comeback against VfL Eintracht Hagen and made the match exciting again. In Dessau-Rosslau, the deciding goal was not scored until the final seconds.
On the 23rd match day, VfL Lübeck-Schwartau hosted ThSV Eisenach, the second team in the table. Although the roles were clearly distributed before the match, the teams delivered a hard-fought duel. VfL Eintracht Hagen wanted to secure important points to stay in the class in the match against their table neighbour Konstanz and in the exciting match in Rostock, Zaporizhzhia tried to earn the next two points.

HC Empor Rostock turned around a three-goal deficit at half-time to secure a point in the match against VfL Lübeck-Schwartau. In the match between TV Großwallstadt and SG BBM Bietigheim, the teams fought an exciting duel until the end. In a highly exciting duel, 1. VfL Potsdam was able to stop the winning streak of the league leaders Balingen and win the two points for themselves. TV Großwallstadt and HC Motor Zaporizhzhia had a nerve-wracking duel and the teams also had a tough fight in the match between TuS N-Lübbecke, fourth in the table, and SG BBM Bietigheim. On match day 15, TuSEM Essen managed a 33:27 derby win against VfL Eintracht Hagen in front of their home crowd. TuS N-Lübbecke celebrated a club history in their away game against HSG Nordhorn-Lingen and SG BBM Bietigheim delivered an outstanding 2nd half in Eisenach. TuS N-Lübbecke convinced against their pursuers Dessau-Roßlauer HV 06 with a thrilling comeback, and in the duel between HC Elbflorenz 2006 and VfL Lübeck-Schwartau there was an intense defensive battle in the first half. The Wölfe Würzburg got their first win after ten defeats on match day 13! In the match between TSV Bayer Dormagen and the Eulen Ludwigshafen, the teams delivered an exciting duel until the end. In the nerve-racking top match between third-placed Dessau-Roßlauer HV 06 and leaders HBW-Balingen-Weilstetten, the teams also put up a tough fight. In the duel between TUSEM Essen and 1.
